It’s New Year’s Day at King Arthur’s court; all the knights and ladies have gathered to feast and celebrate the holiday. Arthur, as is his wont, refuses to eat until he has witnessed something marvelous or heard a great adventure story. Luckily for him, or perhaps unluckily, a mysterious, gigantic stranger with emerald-green skin and clothing bursts into the hall carrying a wicked-looking ax.  The uninvited guest is simply looking for some entertainment: he proposes to play a little Christmas game involving beheading!
